Actually, it’s been in beta for a while now.

But we’re set with the shakedown, and committed to a schedule of twice-monthly updates.

James Bond Watch Photos is a dedicated sister-site where we’ve organized and made available mostly exclusive photography. There is only a limited number of Categories, for straightforward access: By wristwatch type, James Bond story title, and image size.

All known brands featured in the movies are covered. Most models are here. Some literary and licensed product James Bond watches have started to be included, with more to come. This is also where we have and will be cataloging official product placement photographs, such as wallpapers provided by Omega.

Images are available for immediate download, for personal use only. Subject to copyright limitations.

Media inquiries are welcome: Contact Proteus Publishing for access to photographs at higher resolution, without watermarks.

As the holiday shopping season is upon us, I thought I’d use this James Bond Watches Blog posting to more broadly respond to some of the requests I commonly get for general direction on locating vintage pieces.

By way of opening disclaimer: These are as-is, where-is references. I’m neither authenticating the watches themselves, nor vouching for sellers.

Breitling Top Time

  • Item number 220889271187 here has been available from this seller for a while now. With a Buy It Now price of $2,333.99, it’s a good deal steeper than anything I’ve seen actually sell. But there’s a Make Offer option available if you’d like to take a run at it that way.

Hamilton Pulsar P2

  • This one is interesting in that it includes the original instructions, which is uncommon. Item number 140651170606 is currently up to $213.50 in soft bidding.

Most recent models of the six known James Bond watch brands

Synchronized and fully functional: The most recent models of each known James Bond watch brand, movies and literary issues

Here’s another photo of the most recent James Bond watch models associated with each of the six brands known to have been worn by Agent 007.

This follows a similar exclusive presented here on the James Bond Watches Blog last Friday.

As before, all watches shown are set to the same date (where applicable), synchronized and running.

Starting with the front row, left—

A Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date watch, specified by author Jeffery Deaver as the personal James Bond choice in Carte Blanche.

Middle watch, front row watch is also from Carte Blanche. This particular piece is further distinguished as having actually been worn by Mr Deaver at the end of his United States book tour, last June.

The other four watches were displayed at the National Watch & Clock Museum as part of its “Bond Watches, James Bond Watches” exhibit, June 2010, through April 2011.

Front row, right-most: A TAG Heuer Professional diver’s watch, similar to the model worn by Timothy Dalton through most of the action in The Living Daylights.
