Actually, it’s been in beta for a while now.

But we’re set with the shakedown, and committed to a schedule of twice-monthly updates.

James Bond Watch Photos is a dedicated sister-site where we’ve organized and made available mostly exclusive photography. There is only a limited number of Categories, for straightforward access: By wristwatch type, James Bond story title, and image size.

All known brands featured in the movies are covered. Most models are here. Some literary and licensed product James Bond watches have started to be included, with more to come. This is also where we have and will be cataloging official product placement photographs, such as wallpapers provided by Omega.

Poll of Rolex watch fans vis-a-vis James Bond, 4/25/2009

Survey results: "What watch should James Bond wear in upcoming movies?" April 24, 2009: 126 voters

By way of preamble—this survey data is from the same universe of Rolex owners, collectors, prospects, and those otherwise interested, as were reflected in content set out here two days ago.

So a degree of restraint must be exercised with particular regard to Omega standing here in terms of desired direction for any next James Bond movie watch.

As a matter of fact, if you’re looking to reverse-engineer instrument design here, you’ve probably already figured out that I’m really only after assessing degree of interest from among Rolex folks to see future ties to the fictional James Bond character (in new movies).

The question: “What watch should James Bond wear in upcoming movies?”

Almost 66% advocated Rolex.

What would those most passionate in the watch collecting community like to see James Bond wear for a wristwatch in the new “Project X” novel coming out next May 28?

This was a question I put to one of the more highly trafficked Internet forums just over a month ago now, as promised here on this James Bond Watches Blog on July 27. I’d actually posted the poll one day prior to that, targeting watch folks across the spectrum of interests.

My survey ran 30 days, was viewed over 800 times, and garnered 98 votes.
