Instructions for a Seiko H357-5040, WHV005: One of two James Bond watches worn by actor Roger Moore in the 1981 movie, "For Your Eyes Only"

A scan of the Seiko caliber H357 instruction booklet is now available on this James Bond Watches website.

Formally titled, “Duo-Display Quartz Cal. H357 Alarm Chronograph,” these materials should be helpful to new owners of the model WHV005, case number H357-5040, similar to what Roger Moore wore as James Bond in the Eon Productions 007 movie, For Your Eyes Only (1981).

Seiko has offered a number of H357 variations when these were in production — some strikingly similar to the actual selection worn by the fictional James Bond character. Actor Roger Moore wore a Seiko Quartz LC (liquid crystal display) “Digital Type Calibre G757 Graphic Alarm Chronograph Sports 100″ model as James Bond, Agent 007, through most of the action in the movie Octopussy (1983). Most fans will recall the important role it played in building tension to the circus sequence where a nuclear bomb was set to detonate if he didn’t arrive in time to disarm it.
