Following are results of a poll I ran in a highly-trafficked watch forum focused on the Omega wristwatch brand. I posted this survey on March 11, 2008, and ran it for 7 days. The thread was viewed more than 1,119 times and garnered 86 votes as distributed below in response to the following queston.
Is this 007 watch image a fake?

Numbers may not add up to 100% due to rounding.
Note: This survey started before and ended up overlapping the March 13, 2008, Press Kit in which Omega SA officially announced its “James Bond 007 Collector’s Piece,” which included a high-resolution version — at left, here — of the leaked picture that I included with my poll.
In other words, almost half of those speculating in response to this poll were proven wrong.
The image turned out to be real.
